As we monitor global developments, we continue to use best practices to mitigate risks related to novel coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19). Across General Digital, employees with potential exposure are instructed to work remotely and self-quarantine. Additionally, we have instituted a restricted travel policy until further notice.
All visitors to the GDC facility will be asked to complete a health screening questionnaire. You may be subject to additional health screenings including, but not limited to, having your temperature checked. Also, if you are from a state with a high degree of COVID-19 cases—per the State of Connecticut guidelines—you will need to quarantine for 14 days before gaining access to our facility.
In this way, GDC will be best able to continue supporting our customer requirements during the uncertainty surrounding this public health pandemic.
As for the operations here at GDC, we are still at 100% factory readiness and have suffered no major impacts from the global supply chain slow down thus far. Our software team is operating at full strength in-house and remotely. We will immediately communicate any impacts to lead times or product availability should they arise.
If you have any questions about the status of your project, please reach out to your regular GDC contact via e-mail or phone.
