The SlimLine Commercial™ Series cleverly combines an LCD monitor, keyboard and pointing device in one unit and is considered the “perfect” complement to General Digital’s™ other innovative, rack mount products.

Optimized for its ultra-low 1U profile (1.75" high), [2U or 3.50" for the 20" model] the SlimLine Commercial™ is designed to save valuable rack space and expense by providing a reliable and user-friendly operator interface. The monitor ’s compact design and industrial durability make it the ideal rack mount solution for network administration, telecommunications, mobile applications (transit case), and more.

AMTFT LCD Screens
General Digital™ integrates the latest advances in LCD display technology including 15", 17", 19" and 20" (diagonal viewing area) panels. These panels provide a viewing area comparable to 17", 19", 21" and 22" CRTs, respectively. Our active matrix TFT LCD panels offer up to 16.7 miliion colors, wide viewing angles, and fast response times.

Video Support
All standard SlimLine Commercial™ LCD monitors support non-interlaced analog video (separate sync).

High Performance LCD Controller
Features include Auto Setup, Horizontal / Vertical Positioning, Phase, Color Control, Multiple Languages, Image Expansion and more.

Ultra Low Profile Enclosure
The 1U high (1.75") rack mount enclosure (2U or 3.50" for the 20" model) is constructed from a combination of steel and aluminum, providing a cost-effective, lightweight housing that can be used in most commercial and light industrial applications. Use of continuous-friction hinges permit the display to be user adjusted over a usable range of greater than 90°. A pair of adjustable chassis slides facilitate rack mounting and ease of operation. Interface connectors for the keyboard, pointing device and input power are located on the rear of the device.

Integral Keyboard / Pointing Device
General Digital™ offers several commercial-grade keyboards and two types of pointing devices (touch pad and trackball) for integration into the SlimLine Commercial™. A multitude of keyboard protocols are available: PC (AT, XT, PS/2, USB) and Sun^® (Type 5 [8-pin Mini-DIN], Type 6 [USB]). (For details, see the Keyboard/Pointing Device Table.)
