General
Digital™ introduces DVI capability for the DH Series
LCD monitors, which include the DHG-20W, DHP-20W and DHR-20W.
DVI (Digital Video Interface) eliminates the need to manually calibrate
LCD monitors. Additionally, we can integrate a fiber-optic receiver
into the LCD monitor that, when coupled with our transceiver module,
will support cable runs up to 1 km without requiring repeatersall
over a single strand fiber-optic cable! This simple but effective solution
allows for daisy chaining so that multiple LCDs can be driven from
a single source without requiring long, bulky runs back to the video
source.
END OF LIFE ANNOUNCEMENT: The LCD display
used in our SGD-18W-960-dd-00-01-gg-hP02 is
no longer being produced. This display is still available in limited
quantities with a full warranty. General Digital™ is currently
designing its replacement, which is expected to be released in the second
quarter of 2003.
