General Digital’s Optical Bonding Laboratories does it again! Year after year, OBL displays at the Society of Information Display (SID) Display Week International Symposium and Exhibition. And year after year, OBL continues to dazzle with innovative designs for display enhancements. With Jennifer Derleth, OBL’s Director of Operations at the helm, it’s easy to see why.
Demonstrating sunlight readable, NVIS (Night Vision Imaging System), and LED backlight techonologies; the latest display enhancement technologies including UV (ultraviolet) and silicone formulas; and various touch screen technologies (such as quarter wave retarders and polarizing films) on over a dozen LCD monitors, booth 1232 was packed with prime examples of the best in the industry.
We’re not sure if Vancouver, British Columbia, is some kind of cosmic epicenter for inter dimensional activity, but Jennifer came away with some great contacts from SID’s 50th year of Display Week.
With more travel in store, GD’s Optical Bonding Laboratories is getting ready to heat up this summer!
